The first residential geoexchange system installed in Australia in 1992 is still going strong after 25 years. The heat pump even has prototype stamped on it.
It has operated flawlessly for over 25 years and has helped the various homeowners save significant amounts of money on their heating and cooling bills while also providing trouble free comfort and peace of mind.
The only minor service requirements in the past 25 years have been an internal control board upgrade and a thermostat replacement in late 2017.
This is a typical history for a geoexchange system and rare in Australia as not many of this vintage. Fortunately, we have many more such stories in the making.
