We announced last year in this article that we are partnering with LandCorp in WA on their Cool Earth project. The project is testing two homes – one with a conventional reverse-cycle air-conditioning system against the other home with a geoexchange system. The aim is to show how geoexchange can help reduce increasingly expensive heating and cooling bills.
The ‘innovation through demonstration’ project is now under way with the hole for the home with geoexchange technology being drilled in early September.
